Role in COCOLIH2T
In the framework of COCOLIH2T project, ATR will bring its strong expertise as regional turboprop aircraft manufacturer.
As end-user, ATR will be responsible for defining the requirements, and will contribute to the interfaces, V&V planning and test planning and will participate in the integrated tank design.

Antonio Sperandio
Large Project Manager
Antonio SPERANDIO graduated from Bologna University (IT) in Nuclear Engineering and started working in the Aerospace domain in 1985 with major aircraft manufacturers such as ALENIA/LEONARDO (IT), AEROSPATIALE (F), DEE HOWARD (USA), AIRBUS MILITARY (F).
He joined ATR in 2002 when he became Head of the “Certification and Airworthiness Department”, then Head of the “Research and technology Department” cumulating considerable experience in projects implementation and management both in developments and in R&T domains.
Alberto Palumbo
Project Manager
Alberto PALUMBO graduated from Naples University (IT) in Aeronautic Engineering.
He started working in the Aerospace domain in 1986 with the Italian aircraft manufacturer (ALENIA S.p.a., now LEONARDO), in the Aeroelasticity Dpt., contributing to Flutter certification of the ATR72.
He joined ATR in 1994 where he became Head of the Technical Sales Dpt, by participating to several successful worldwide sales campaign.
He successively moved to ATR Engineering Dpt. as Chief Engineer of an ATR special version.
He is finally in R&T Dpt. to manage several Research projects.
Nicolas Bernardin
Future Projects Specialist-Technical Leader
Nicolas BERNARDIN is a Future Projects Specialist in the Future Projects and R&T team in ATR’s Chief Engineering Department.
He has a Master’s degree in Civil Aeronautic Engineering from the “Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile” (ENAC – France).
He has 13 years of experience on various turboprop aircraft, with area of expertise covering Handling Qualities, Aircraft Performances, Turboprop Engines, Weight and Balance and Acoustics.
